Foundation purpose: the sole and direct purpose of the foundation is to promote art and culture, particularly contemporary art; to acquire and preserve artworks and knowledge of artworks domestically and abroad; to make artworks and knowledge of artworks accessible to the public domestically and abroad; to promote public appreciation of art and culture in Austria and abroad; to preserve constructions or natural monuments of cultural or historical significance; and to best preserve and augment the assets given to this foundation; and subsidiarily to provide humanitarian and charitable assistance to persons in need.
