Green light – An artistic workshop
Oh Captain, my Captain...

"Dear readers of the blog of Green light,

You all know how you feel when you go to school, but do you know how does it feel like to be on the other side of the classroom? You are not there sitting and learning anymore: you are (most of the time) running around the classroom and you are the one who's teaching!

This was not my first experience as a teacher, but I surely never experienced anything quite like the Green Light workshop. The participants are very different from the students I'm used to work with. At Green Light the atmosphere is friendly and we really became a big family during the past few weeks. I don't feel the usual "gap" between teacher and students, because when the school is over, we always have a good time together and therefore, we usually have a great time at school, too! We are relaxed, we laugh, we make jokes, we bring personal experiences, we get to know each other's cultures and we never judge each other - even when someone tells us that his favourite food is the snake!!

I loved my time here and I loved teaching to the guys of Group B.

Today is my last day and my students received their final certificates with very good grades! I'm proud of them and I wish them all the luck in the world.

I would like to thank the guys of Group B and everyone who collaborated to this workshop: for me it has been a wonderful experience!

Finally, as Dickson's favourite singer sings in a very famous song, I would like to say goodbye to you like this:

"Near, far, wherever you are

I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door

And you're here in my heart and my heart will go on and on"

I'm gonna miss you, guys!
